Suburban Transit Network (TransNet): Shared-Ride Program

Transnet Square LogoThe Shared-Ride program is a reduced fare transportation service offered to Montgomery County residents who are age 65 or older. It is a door-to-door, ride-sharing service designed to provide transportation within local communities in Montgomery County. The Pennsylvania Lottery Fund contributes to the cost of operating this program subsidizing 85% of the fare.

Conshohocken Shared-Ride Reimbursement Program

The Borough of Conshohocken has implemented a reimbursement program to assist our senior residents in reducing their cost for transportation. To be eligible for the Shared-Ride Program you must first register with TransNet, and then register with the Borough of Conshohocken for their Senior Citizen Reimbursement Program.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Riders must meet the established criteria to qualify for these programs.

Senior Citizens Ride Free: Bus, subway, trolley and Norristown High Speed Line rides are free for seniors age 65 or older with a valid PA Senior Citizen Transit ID Card.

Schuylkill River Trail


In Conshohocken, the SEPTA station is considered the trailhead. Above the Conshohocken trailhead is the connection to the Cross County trail, which heads north through a mix of urban and suburban areas.
