Public Works

The Public Works Division is further broken down into three separate subdivisions of resident service: Parks, Landscaping & Grounds, Streets, and Sanitation. The Parks, Landscaping & Grounds Division is responsible for the timely upkeep of Borough facilities, maintaining the beautification of all Borough Parks, and overseeing a comprehensive program ranging from lawn mowing, field lining to turf maintenance. The Streets Divison is responsible for street and storm water maintenance, parking and street line painting, and snow removal. The Sanitation Division is responsible for trash, recycling and yard waste collection; bulk metal, electronic and trash pick up, fall leaf collection, street and storm water maintenance, parking and street line painting, and snow removal.

Trash & Recycling Holiday Schedule

All holidays that fall on a Saturday or Sunday are observed by Public Works on the following Monday. Wednesday will be the make up recycle collection day for both sides of town. When your trash and recycle collection day falls on a holiday, your recyclables will be collected on Wednesday and your trash will be collected on your next scheduled collection day. When trash collection day falls on a holiday, it will be collected on the next scheduled collection day.
