Our vibrant, walk-able borough is truly a unique delight. Its strategic location on the banks of the Schuylkill River is located just 15 miles from Center City Philadelphia, making it a desirable spot to live, work and play. Conshohocken is home to many enticing parks and outdoor diversions, including our Rowing Center and main thoroughfare, Fayette Street, beautifully lined with bustling dining spots and a new Borough Hall.
Conshohocken has quickly developed into a hub of residential and commercial activity, becoming one of the most important professional centers in Montgomery County. It is the model for successful transformation from a mill town to a modern center for office and waterfront residential living. The Schuylkill River Trail provides easy access to Conshohocken, as does a convenient SEPTA stop located at the Conshohocken Station. Conshohocken is a place that residents are proud to call home.
Alongside the development, great traditions have endured and strengthened. The Borough is host to many annual events, from the Saint Patrick's Day Parade and Classic Car Show to the Fourth of July Fireworks and the Funfest, which will return to Fayette Street in Fall 2016. Conshohocken's community-minded approach, exemplified by its residents, Mayor Frost and Borough Council shines as a magnet to surrounding municipalities. The Borough of Conshohocken has a rich and great history, and it will continue to evolve.
We invite you to attend Borough Council Meetings, which are held the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month beginning at 7:00 p.m. Please join us at the Borough Hall located at 400 Fayette Street in Conshohocken.
