Mayor Robert Frost 

Mayor Robert Frost Mayor Robert Frost is a lifelong resident of the Borough of Conshohocken. He attended St. Matthew's Grade School, Archbishop Kennedy High School and holds a degree in Marketing from Saint Joseph's University. He and his wife, Joanne have been married for 43 years and have two children, Jessica and Robert. Bob is currently employed by Staver Hydraulics, Inc. in Exton, PA as a territory manager for the Mid-Atlantic region.

Bob is in his fourth term as Mayor of the Borough. He also serves as Vice-President of the Pennsylvania State Mayor's Association.

During his first term, Mayor Frost created the "Mayor's Special Event Committee." This Committee annually hosts the Car Show in June, the Halloween Parade, and the Christmas Tree Lighting Trivia Contest. The Mayor's Special Event Committee works with other organizations in the Borough such as the Conshohocken Ambucs, VFW Post 1074, Washington Fire Company No. 1 and Conshohocken Fire Company No. 2.

Before becoming Mayor, Bob was very involved with the local Little League and the Borough's Soap Box Derby Annual Race. He was previously a member of the Conshohocken Zoning Board and Vice-President of the Conshohocken Historical Society.

In his tenure as Mayor, Bob has seen many changes in the Borough and looks forward to the development of new programs and events, along with a continued partnership with our local organizations.

Responsibilities of the Mayor

The primary responsibility of the Mayor is to effectively preserve the public peace within the Borough. Other responsibilities include presiding over the organization of the council until it is organized (as provided in Section 1001, Title 8 of the PA Consolidated Statues), casting a tie or split breaking vote, performing marriage ceremonies, requesting aide and assistance from law enforcement officers and agencies, declaring a state of emergency, and administering oaths.

The mayor shall have full charge and control of the chief of police and the police force; and shall direct the time during which, the place where, and the manner in which the chief of police and the police force perform the duties of their rank.
