How Do I...?

Human Relations Commission

The Human Relations Commission enforces Pennsylvania's anti-discrimination laws and promotes equal opportunity to ensure that all persons, regardless of race, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression, enjoy the full benefits of citizenship. It also encourages diverse workplaces, schools and communities where differences are not just tolerated, but celebrated.

The Human Relations Commission investigates complaints of illegal discrimination pertaining, but not limited to: housing, commercial property; employment and public accommodations based upon race, color, religious creed, ancestry, age, sex, national origin, handicap or disability; use of guide or support animals because of the blindness; deafness or physical handicap of the user or because the user is a handler or trainer of support or guide animals, or because of an individual's sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression.

If you would like more information, have questions, or feel that you have been mistreated by an unlawful discriminatory practice please contact the Borough of Conshohocken Administrative Office or Human Relations Commission at 610-828-1092. You may also file a formal complaint by submitting a complaint form to the Borough of Conshohocken.

New appointments and re-appointments usually occur in December or January annually.

Meeting Schedule

The Human Relations Commission meets as needed. All meeting dates, changes and/or cancellations are reflected on the Borough’s website calendar.
