How Do I...?

Public Services

Public Services is part the Operations Department. In total, the Operations Department is comprised of Emergency Management, Fire Services, Licenses and Inspections and Public Services. The Executive Director of Operations is responsible for managing each of these divisions.

Public Services focuses on four major areas of service within the Borough. Learn more below.

Buildings

Oversees maintenance and repairs throughout all Conshohocken Borough owned facilities. This includes, Borough Hall, the Conshohocken Community Center at the Fellowship House, the Mary Wood Park House, the A.A. Garthwaite Stadium (A-Field), and both Public Services garages.

Parks

Works to preserve the quality of the Borough's parks system by maintaining all landscaping and exterior grounds. It also oversees maintenance programs for lawn mowing, lining playing fields, and turf management. While Public Services maintains our parks system, the Department of Recreation Services is responsible for scheduling all organized activities and rentals that take place at each of our parks. Visit one of our parks today!

Sanitation & Recycling

Responsible for trash, recycling and yard waste services for the Borough of Conshohocken. This includes the weekly collection of resident trash, recycling, and yard waste; bulk trash and metal; electronic waste; fall leaf-vac collection, and Christmas tree collection. Learn more about the Borough's sanitation and recycling services, waste guidelines, and collection schedules by visiting the pages listed below.

Streets

The Streets division oversees street and storm water maintenance. PennDOT is responsible for all maintenance and repair of state owned roads. The Streets team also maintains parking and street line painting. The need for painting new parking and street lines is reassessed each year and performed from April through October, weather permitting.

Lastly, the Streets division is responsible for snow removal. Prepare for winter weather by learning about the Borough’s Snow Removal Management and winter weather practices to help plan for before, during and after snowstorms.
