SEPTA Conshohocken Train Station

Due to the extraordinary efforts made by SEPTA to repair train crossings, there will be no road closures at Conshohocken railroad crossings. The Manayunk - Norristown Regional Rail Line will run as normal beginning Monday, September 13, 2021.

SEPTA has sustained substantial damage on all railroad crossing therefore, in an effort to repair the SEPTA indicators, the following Roads will be shutdown beginning Monday, September 13, 2021 and remain closed for a duration of 6 weeks.

  • Cherry Street
  • Poplar Street
  • Harry Street (Open to pedestrian traffic only)

Ash Street will remain fully operational to all traffic. Police will be present and monitoring the intersection in the morning and in the afternoon for the first 2 days.

Following the repairs on the above-mentioned streets, Ash Street will close for repair (Date TBD).

Please take caution as the trains will be running with the train coming to a complete stop at Ash Street. The conductor will get out and secure the area for the train to move through slowly, then re-board. This will cause a delay in train service.

In addition, if your property (residence or business) was damaged:

  1. Fill out the Damage Assessment Form from Montgomery County (only one submission per household). This is for Montgomery County residents only.
  2. Report the damage to your township or borough.
  3. If you need assistance, call the Hurricane Ida Crisis Cleanup Hotline at (844) 965-1386. Assistance provided includes:
    • Cutting fallen trees
    • Removing affected drywall, flooring, and appliances
    • Tarping roofs
    • Mitigating mold  
  4. These services are performed by volunteers and will be provided at no cost to the resident. Service is not guaranteed, however, as resources are limited. 

IMPORTANT: If you have homeowners, renters, or commercial insurance, be sure to contact your insurance agent to receive instructions on how to file a claim.
